Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Ms. Baker and I will be your child's teacher this year. This is my third year teaching kindergarten at Community Charter School of Excellence. Kindergarten is the foundation of your child's education, and I am excited to spend the year helping your child bloom into a lifelong learner.
I have created this website as a way for you to stay up-to-date with what is going on in our classroom. The website is divided into the following sections:
- Home: where you are now! My contact information can be found at the bottom of this page.
- Conscious Discipline: This page describes the philosophy behind kindergarten's classroom management plan: Conscious Discipline.
- News and Events: This is where you will find up-to-date information about what is going on in the classroom. Important notes that are sent home (event reminders, monthly newsletters, etc.) will be posted electronically in this section.
- Schedule: This is where you will find our class schedule, as well as the before- and after-care program and tutoring program times.
- Volunteer Opportunities: As you know, each family is responsible for putting in 20 volunteer hours at the school. This section will inform you of new school opportunities as they become available, and also make you aware of ways you can help in the classroom.
- Wishlist: This page has a list of items we are in need of in the classroom, and will be updated frequently to reflect our changing needs. Any donations of these items are greatly appreciated, as they help our classroom run smoothly. Thank you in advance!
- Photo Gallery: This section has pictures of exciting events or projects. Keep an eye out for your child!
