School Garden Grant

I am currently working on a grant to get funds to start a kindergarten garden. As a requirement of the grant, I need donations of materals/funds from outside sources in order to be considered. If you know of any local companies or individuals that would be willing to donate gardening supplies (pots, seeds, soil, gardening tools) or funds, please let me know! Every donation helps and brings us one step closer to having our garden!

Labor Day Weekend

I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Labor Day Weekend! A reminder that tomorrow, Friday September 2nd, is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 12. No lunch will be served and there will be no after care. Please send your child with a snack. There will be no school on Monday, September 5th. Have a great weekend!

Snack

Please remember to send your child in with a snack. We are in school for 4 hours after we eat lunch, and the students get very hungry. We have snack every afternoon at 2. The snack can be anything the student can eat independently and does not require any kind of preparation (heating or refrigeration). Please send the snack in a labeled container to avoid confusion at snack time. Thanks for your cooperation!

Friends and Family Pictures

This is a reminder that I am asking that each child bring in one picture of their family to share on our Friends and Family bulletin board. Please label the back of the picture with your child's name so I can return the picture to you at the end of the year!
